Job Summary:
As a Credit Proposal QC Specialist in the Credit Proposal Quality Control team, you will be responsible for performing quality reviews on credit proposals for new or existing credit facilities. You will evaluate, identify, and report inconsistencies between supporting documentation and proposal data entered into the credit risk system.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality reviews across key credit processes focusing primarily on credit proposals.
  • Build expertise over time and apply foundational principles to additional disciplines.
  • Ensure proper controls are in place and updated to minimize operating risk.
  • Manage and monitor production queues, exception reporting, and KPIs.
  • Engage technology partners to drive database functionality or stability improvements.
  • Build effective relationships with Operations, Credit, Control, and Technology.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for the control organization, audit, or business partners.
  • Research, analyze, and assimilate data for various projects.
  • Assist with the implementation of CORE.
  • Participate in discussions to improve the overall quality environment within WLS.
  • Analyze facility setups in iCRD to ensure alignment with supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of financial services, audit, accounting control, regulatory, compliance, or equivalent experience.
  • Financial services industry knowledge with regulatory practices, including lending, loan processing, and support operations.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of credit products such as revolving lines of credit, term loans, commercial cards, letters of credit.
  • Accurate and attentive to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to probe sensitive issues while maintaining integrity and objectivity.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work; handle multiple tasks concurrently.
