You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team, and apply your project management skills to ensure the successful delivery of platform modernization initiatives. Job responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the regulatory reporting & data needs / requirements for the strategic platform.
  • Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, facilitating communication and ensuring a clear understanding of requirements.
  • Work closely with colleagues in Project teams and stakeholders in other functions across different regions to ensure the successful delivery of platform modernization initiatives and regulatory reports as a senior self-contributor,
  • Manage pragmatic application of project management methodologies, wealth management / private banking industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Determine the milestones and underlying requirements to execute the project plan in conjunction with stakeholders across the various functional groups (Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Business Management, Risk).
  • Partner closely with APAC Operations middle office team and technology partners to deliver strategic operating model and solutions.
  • Plan, manage and execute the projects through a project plan and engagement of stakeholders.
  • Define end-to-end operating environment, design solutions and drive comprehensive solutions ensuring alignment to the Global Operating Model.
  • Plan and coordinate testing of new functionality and regression testing.
  • Provide updates on the project status to senior management and stakeholders and identify critical requirements and potential gaps by understanding complex and interdependent processes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Mandatory requirement: Good knowledge and experience in managing projects on Financial Regulatory reporting of capital market instruments like Derivatives, Equity, Fixed Income securities, FX
  • Strong understanding of investment instruments and operations is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree holder
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant project management experience in one or several of the Operations area (back or middle office) in a reputable bank, fund administrator or financial institution
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in the financial industry and experienced with regulatory reporting / data topics.
  • Possesses ability to drive the strategic objective and communicate appropriately.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate an exceptional capacity to exercise good judgement under pressure and adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the details of a process.
  • Sound ownership with ability to operate in a flexible, dynamic environment where creative and strategic thinking are also required in driving solution, initiatives and projects. and high level of ability to work independently with integrity and a strong sense of accountability for results.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Good understanding of data management principles, data modelling, and database technologies is desirable, but not mandatory
