As a Product Manager in Trust and Safety, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Lead efforts to migrate fraud screening capabilities from legacy systems to modern, optimized platforms, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced fraud detection
  • Defines and implements strategic plans for early-stage fraud screening solutions that help clients detect and mitigate risks
  • Partners with engineering teams to design and deliver advanced fraud screening checkpoints that improve efficiency and reduce processing delays
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and execute migration roadmaps, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized fraud detection performance
  • Identifies opportunities to enhance scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency in fraud detection and payment processing platforms
  • Incorporates client feedback and industry best practices to continuously refine fraud detection workflows and improve user experience
  • Leverages data-driven insights to drive innovation in fraud prevention, aligning platform capabilities with client needs and emerging trends

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience with large-scale system migrations and optimizations in a payments or financial services environment
  • Strong ability to collaborating with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable product solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders on strategic priorities
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated success in leveraging data insights to improve fraud detection capabilities and user outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects with competing priorities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Expertise in fraud screening technologies, including rule-based and machine learning models for risk management
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations related to fraud prevention and payment processing
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and align technical and business priorities effectively
  • Familiarity with trends in payment and fraud prevention technologies, including real-time fraud detection tools
