As a Product Director in the Elder and Family Product, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
As the Product Management Director, you will be focusing on protecting elder customers from fraud and scams. You will design products, features, and services to support these customers, their families, and the sandwich generation. You will own this customer segment end-to-end, collaborating with Chase businesses, external stakeholders, fintechs, regulators, and trade associations. In your role, you will deliver capabilities and resources that help Chase protect elder or vulnerable customers and their family members. As a leader, you will advocate for this customer segment, challenge existing thinking, and inspire cross-Chase teams to create innovative solutions that make Chase the best bank for elders and their families.

Job responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, business growth targets, and builds business cases
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
- Champion the elder and vulnerable customer segment across Chase by overseeing the roadmap, vision, development, execution, and risk management.
- Leverage data and insights to influence enterprise-wide communications, equipping bankers, customers, and family members with educational resources to promote financial caregiving, protect financial futures, and identify and report financial abuse incidents.
- Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation in partnership with Corporate Development.
- Track elder and vulnerable customer trends, bills, and potential regulations through partnerships with Government Relations, Legal, and trade associations.
- Collaborate with the Global Security Vulnerable Adult Investigations team, Fraud and Claims Operations, Risk Management, and Legal to understand current scams affecting customers and identify opportunities for communications, system enhancements, or capabilities to prevent victimization.
- Work with the Trust and Security organization to advocate for Consumer Banking branch-focused initiatives.
- Serve as the Elder or Vulnerable Champion for Consumer Banking (Branch and Virtual Banking) within the Regulatory Operations Oversight team, conducting annual policy and standard reviews and evaluating Consumer Banking procedures and training to ensure compliance
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- Exceptional critical thinking abilities and strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with and influencing a diverse range of stakeholders within the bank.
- Experience in engaging with external stakeholders, such as federal and state governments or trade associations.
- Experience in close collaboration with line of defense partners, including Risk, Controls, and Legal teams.
- Proven capability to excel and adapt in an ambiguous and highly matrixed environment.
