DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Analyze prevailing pricing and build business cases for potential pricing changes and analyses at monthly pricing meetings. Own the process to create and maintain a database that records deposit portfolio attributes and performance every month, for new and existing book. Build the single source of truth for deposit, rate, pricing, and model data. Design, build, and maintain models and processes/databases to evaluate the impact of rate changes on existing and new book volumes and net interest income, leading to incremental profitability. Own intent in technology projects to make the deposit pricing tools more integrated, increase efficiency, and build more data controls. Execute the pricing changes for deposit products for Global Private Banking's (GPB) global business. Develop structured, quantitative, and analytical approach to solving problems. Envision and plan analytical projects that identify levers of profitability in the businesses including segment of opportunity that would deepen clients' relationships and increase client lifetime value. Run regular pricing meetings with stakeholders, including Global Heads of Deposit Solutions, Sales teams, Finance, and Product teams. Respond to ad-hoc analytical and data requests from senior management. Mentor new analysts that join the team including help and guide them in getting access to pertinent databases and with technical expertise to run queries/workflows and business background, as well as nuances of the deposit products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Finance, Data, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Development, Lead Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Development, Lead Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Data querying and accessing from Relational databases including Teradata, SQL Server, and Oracle; Big Data including Green Plum and Snowflake databases; Data handling with Python, Alteryx, and SAS, R; Data presentation skills including Tableau, Qlik, and PowerPoint; and File handling with excels, text files, and csv files.

Job Location: 390 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017. Telecommuting permitted up to 20% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $142,500 - $200,000 per year.
