Job Summary:

As Cash Prime Brokerage - Product Development Vice President, within Prime Finance, you will get involved in building out our Product strategy, leading initiatives to improve existing product sets, or even create new ones from scratch by working closely with other teams throughout the organization supporting the Prime Financial Services business.

If you have a strong understanding of Prime Brokerage fundamentals including cash and trade processing, settlements, asset servicing and lifecycle event processing, you have found the right team!

The role will entail working directly with our business partners to deliver commercial and robust solutions related to the Cash Prime Brokerage product.

You must have the ability to absorb large amounts of information, identify issues and present resolutions to business and technology partners. You will partner with Client Service, Transition, Middle Office, Compliance and Technology including AI Research teams.

Job responsibilities

  • Be the sole point of contact and escalation point for all product, technology, and operational inquiries related to assigned projects
  • Leading Cash Prime Brokerage projects on behalf of the business from inception through to implementation, ultimately accountable for meeting these mandates
  • Identify profitable, efficient product enhancement concepts that reflect revenue opportunities
  • Partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective strategic solutions, on time, and on budget
  • Ensure the product investment is clearly aligned to commercial business objectives
  • Partnering in creating the product road map, defining the business requirements and managing sponsored deliverables throughout the development cycle, ensuring tangible and successful end-to end delivery
  • Be responsible and accountable for on-going client facing product positioning against key competitors

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • At least 5+ years of total professional experience with 3+ years directly in product management or prime brokerage
  • Partner with business stakeholders to determine the business goals that clients want to achieve and the products / processes that will support those goals
  • Ability to gather information through process mapping, flow-charting, and data analysis to make recommendations which meet product objectives
  • Strategic thinker able to design end-to-end solutions and re-engineer business and operational processes
  • Logical mindset and perseverance to challenge the status quo as required and collaborate with partners through creative solutioning
  • Ability to communicate ideas well and effectively target messages to different audiences through verbal and written presentations
  • Lead programs across multiple streams of work simultaneously while balancing the business, client and regulatory needs versus budgetary pressures
  • Empower team members and functional partners to succeed and deliver value added solutions to the business
