DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead the translation of complex business problems into actionable machine learning tasks and execute training of those tasks using appropriate machine learning algorithms. Lead the design of tests and scientific experiments to specifically measure business performance of the deployed model(s) and/or solutions. Lead the development, testing, and deployment of production quality code implementations for solutions. Resolve production issues. Communicate complex results and analysis to a variety of audiences. Prepare and deliver technical presentations. Keep abreast of deep learning and machine learning practices by attending conferences, reading academic works, and testing open source implementations. Interview and mentor junior AI/ML team members. This position requires up to 10% travel (Domestic and International).

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Computer Science, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Predictive Science, Applied AI ML Associate, Data Scientist Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: writing production quality code in Python and SQL; synthesizing complex business information including financial sales processes, trading, and technology operations, and then distilling this information into actionable solvable tasks; designing relevant scientific tests to validate hypotheses of proposed solutions to business problems; communicating and presenting scientific information to a variety of audiences with a range of artificial intelligence knowledge. This position requires experience in the following: machine learning and deep learning practices and techniques including but not limited to: activations, regularization, loss functions, layer types, masked language modeling techniques, encoders, transformers, and reinforcement learning; cloud systems and architecture design for deployments and maintenance; machine learning as well as deep learning models and architectures.

Full-Time. Salary: $195,000 - $260,000 per year.
