As a Business Analysis Associate within our Payments Regulatory Reporting team, you will play a pivotal role in the Payments Client Service, Implementation and Operations (PCSIO) team. Your responsibilities will include managing complex regulatory reporting requirements and spearheading significant improvements in our reporting infrastructure. You will also be responsible for executing Business Requirements Capture as part of the comprehensive Global Change Management process and working closely with Subject Matter Experts to understand Payments Regulatory Reporting Operational Procedures. Under the supervision of the Business Analyst lead, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a multi-year strategic transformation roadmap and work in a diverse and inclusive environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.

Job responsibilities:

  • Manage and be part of a 'Pod' of Business Analysts capturing Business Requirements, Acceptance Criteria & Test Scenarios directly supporting Product Owners own changes across Regulatory/Audit, Tech Platforms, Payment Products and centrally run initiatives
  • Present Requirements to Feature teams ensuring that deep-dive walkthroughs are done as per agreed timeframe
  • Work with SMEs from branches to fully understand Payments Regulatory Reporting Operational Procedures changes required by them, clarifying Requirements and identifying opportunities for improvements
  • Report on change progress, individual team metrics, process improvements, etc.
  • Propose and Document Change Management process changes, outlining RegOps procedures and User guides using Confluence wiki
  • Participate in the overall Change Management continuous improvement initiatives such as Testing and Knowledge Management; close liaison with RegOps Data Management and Governance teams, Global and Regional Tech teams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Hands-on experience in the Business Analyst role
  • Understanding of Agile Best Practices and complementary tooling such as JIRA & Confluence
  • Awareness in one of the Payments Regulations: Tax, Anti-Money-Laundering, PSD2, Payment Transactions
  • Awareness in one of the following: SEPA, Wires, Direct Debits, FX, paper based, clearings, ISO standards, SWIFT
  • Enthusiastic about driving the strategy and vision towards the execution: able to see the bigger picture, forward-looking, possibilities thinker, passionate about moving ideas forward to action
  • Communicates effectively and able to influence multiple audiences (firmwide, regional, LoB, location)
  • Builds a strong control framework and operates within that framework to ensure successful delivery of all our regulatory requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management: connection, communication & collaboration.
  • Knowledge of payment products and related regulatory landscape.
  • Developing policies, procedures, performance outcomes and standards that are aligned to meet all regulatory and controls standards.
