As a Product Manager in the Product Catalog team, you will partner closely across Client Onboarding & Servicing (COS), Operations, Technology, business transformation leadership, and product owners to deliver product solutions necessary to integrate systems, store and transform data, as well as visualize reporting. The Data Integration Product Manager will support the Client Onboarding & Servicing area products and enable modern system-to-system integration architecture.

You will work independently and exhibit superior ability to support data requests, perform complex data analysis, and communicate recommended solutions. You should also be comfortable executing system-to-system field mapping, mapping gap analysis, data profiling, reporting, and general data analysis. This role is a hands-on subject matter expert that requires strong data analytical problem-solving skills.

You will also provide consultative support on deliverables including but not limited to data flow design details, data exchange, system cross impacts, downstream data consumption, and production deployment engagement.

In summary, your primary focus in this position will be to execute upon deliverables required for data integration, as well as developing your data integration subject matter expertise and using this expertise to support partners with the strategy and execution of technical and business deliverables.

Job responsibilities:

  • Investigate and define detailed current state and target state data flows across front, middle, and back office applications
  • Rationalize data requirements across stakeholders and applications; identify and resolve gaps in data requirements
  • Write Jira stories and epics in support of data integration product development, adhering to agile hygiene standards
  • Analyze complex data issues, understand requirements, review data analysis, make recommendations, and facilitate group discussions with stakeholders to syndicate proposed solutions
  • Develop data integration subject matter expertise and use this expertise to support partners with the strategy and execution of technical and business deliverables
  • Attend product and tech integration stand-up meetings as well as facilitate discovery meetings to understand business process, technology, integrations and business objectives
  • Assist in evaluating new data sources for consumption into strategic data sources as well as necessary data validation and rules
  • Lead collaboration with cross functional teams to develop and execute data integration plans and data flow designs
  • Create/maintain materials as needed to support data integration projects

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Experience using Jira
  • Experience using modern data tools used for data transformation and reporting beyond Excel/Access (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau)
  • Strong interpersonal, partnership, and communication skills
  • Ability to utilize analytical, problem-solving, and data skills to deliver effective solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to prioritize effectively among competing goals
  • Ability to think creatively, take initiative and be able to learn new technical topics, understand system designs and develop technical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams as a subject matter expert, as well as independently work on complex data topics

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
