Payments Product Controller - Trade & Working Capital

Trade and Working Capital plays a key role in fostering everyday international trade as well as providing unique solutions to managing capital through access to liquidity and inventory management. With proven working capital solutions and a continued focus on providing answers to the challenges of doing business today, JP Morgan T&WC is one of the fastest growing players in the Global Trade industry.

As a Payments Product Controller within the Trade & Working Capital team, you will have a unique opportunity to support the team's Structured Financing, Line of Credit, Supply Chain, and Export Finance product offerings. You will have an opportunity to learn about end-to-end credit risk management, structured receivable solutions, and line of business reporting while benefiting from visibility into the rapidly growing and evolving JP Morgan Payments landscape. You will need strong accounting, communication, and teamwork skills which will be critical to developing strong partnerships across multiple functions and regions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Production, preparation and reporting of the daily P&L and Risk
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management
  • Partner with the business to drive forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
  • Drive coordination across various front & back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
  • Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
  • Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 3+ years within Product Control, Financial Control, Accounting, or related area
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail including a strong control focus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships.
  • Strong technical skills in using Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Solid understanding of financial products would be advantageous
  • Previous P&L or risk experience is preferable
  • Alteryx Software experience considered a plus
