As a Vice President of Control Management within our Sales and Marketing business function, you will lead a team committed to fostering a progressive risk and control culture. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing governance, advising on potential risks, and managing controls to reduce risk. You will also be responsible for producing executive reports, supervising regulatory examinations, and nurturing strong relationships with business and compliance teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff to deliver against Control Management objectives.
  • Lead efforts to establish governance that identifies and manages risk.
  • Advise business leads on mitigating emerging risks.
  • Oversee controls that mitigate risk through engagement and analysis.
  • Deliver executive reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
  • Create executive communications, status reports, and metrics.
  • Manage regulatory exams and audits impacting Global Sales and Marketing.
  • Chair the Control Forum and attend governance forums.
  • Report regularly to senior management.
  • Maintain strong controls in partnership with business and relevant partners.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • 7 years of experience in the financial sector with a focus on Payments and risk control.
  • Ability to lead and build high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes without direct line management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Proactive in improving business processes.
  • Experience in change management and transformation.
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business.
  • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to create electronic presentations quickly.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Prior control management experience.
