Job Summary

As a Global Payment Utilities Change Management Associate within the Global Utilities Change Management Team, you will be responsible for managing customer fulfilment, technology, and infrastructural plans in partnership with business stakeholders, Product leads, and functional partners. You will oversee the implementation of Global Utilities projects from start to finish in a fast-paced, digitally-centric environment. You will also be expected to manage multiple projects, collaborate with functional teams, and apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities. Your role will also involve managing communication of status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management, coordinating meetings, and ensuring quality execution against the project plan. You will also be expected to promote the People First Agenda related to wellness, development & training, recognition, and support Firm wide Talent Development Initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be part of a global team to drive global change and transformation initiatives focusing around Payments Product Innovation space, Perform Operations impact analysis and assessment on new business initiatives, including capacity consideration, operating model, regulatory obligations , control processes, client as well as Operations experience.
  • Ensure operational requirements are defined during requirements and solution design. Ensure proper operational requirements are defined during requirements and solution design. Responsible for operational readiness activities for successful implementation of any change coming in (existing, new products , regulatory changes, assess operational, client impact, cross functional impact across Global Payment suite of products)
  • Develop trusted relationships with cross functional stakeholders and in the different businesses our team supports and functions. Create and/or contribute to an environment of collaboration and mutual responsibility
  • Apply structured problem-solving and design thinking to address top strategic priorities, Manage communication of status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management through scorecards and tracking of milestones and critical path.
  • Coordinate working group meetings, Steering group meetings - set the agenda, preparing meeting materials using PowerPoint / Pitch-pro, document minutes in a timely manner and ensuring clear ownership of action items. Provide management updates and communication on project progress.
  • Partner with stakeholders, provide guidance and analysis, help identify and escalate issues/risks/dependencies and facilitate communication across the impacted teams.
  • Define Operations project and readiness plan and work stream of a large project and ensure quality execution against the project plan / critical path. Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Partner with technology and product to ensure the design and build requirements meet business needs. Drive People First Agenda related to wellness, development & training, recognition
  • Support Firm wide Talent Development Initiatives, Ensure sufficient internal controls and procedures to minimize risk - able to drive the risks and controls agenda including working with local operations managers on external and internal audits/regulatory reviews/inspections, Presentation of business updates to Senior LOB Executives

Required Qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • University/Master's Degree with minimum 9 years Operations/Technology and/or Product experience with good understanding in Payment Innovation. Prior experience working in these fields.
  • Full understanding of Treasury Services business, operations and technology strategy, Technologically savvy. Good knowledge in Data Analytics/Data Visualization and/or Intelligent Automation on prior portfolios coverage
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills in English,
  • Strong execution skills and hands on experience working on one or more of these areas: Real Time Payments, Blockchain, FX, Payments Innovation, e-commerce, Alternative Payments, ISO20022 transformation and SWIFT.
  • Willingness to take ownership and accountability to deliver business goals - execution to achieve specific desired results, Proven ability to use appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to motivate and build a cohesive team for achieving local, regional and global goals and objectives
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities and promptly initiate action and escalate potential risks to minimize loss, Strong commitment to providing high standards of quality client service
  • Adaptability in maintaining standards and adjusting effectively to operate within new work structures, processes or requirements, Effective time management skills to meet strict deadlines and team objectives
  • Ability to effectively address and manage conflict, Ability to communicate pro-actively and openly with internal and external business partners - to executive level
  • Proven ability to implement and manage change across direct units as well as remote units, Strong Risks and Controls mindset. Proven track record in handling audits and regulatory requirements
