As a Vice President in Global Payments Advisory, you will be integral part of a client-facing team that sits at the nexus of payments trends, cash management, liquidity and working capital advisory. The team acts as a trusted partner to clients across multiple industries and partners with coverage bankers, sales managers and product specialists to develop and pilot new value propositions aligned to our global Payments strategy.
Utilizing your knowledge of best practices in cash and liquidity management, in-house banks, centralization structures, and post-merger integration you will work with clients across a broad cross-section of industries, including technology, media, telecoms, consumer & retail, and diversified industries to craft tailored solutions that meet clients organizational set ups and strategic objectives.

This role will be based in Mexico City, reporting into the Head of Treasury & Payments Advisory for Latin America.
Job responsibilities
- Consult with clients to structure tailored solutions to support their strategic objectives, bringing together integrated solutions across cash, liquidity management and foreign exchange, with the aim to support transformational LATAM and cross-regional deal flows.
- Advise senior decision-makers across the client organization, including heads of treasury and SSC organization, cash management and payments, while bringing best-in-class practice on topics relevant to treasury efficiency, platform modernization and positioning treasury & payments at the forefront of business model shifts, including B2C / B2B eCommerce, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and corporate actions.
- Partner with product specialists to design client propositions and embed clients' needs in the product development and piloting process.
- Support our consultant engagement strategy, finding areas of collaboration and contributing to deal flow through joint client pitching and referrals.
- Expand the remit of thought leadership relevant to the modern challenges and priorities of senior treasurers and payments leaders, including environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations and artificial intelligence (AI) applications in treasury and payments.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience across cash management, working capital, liquidity, foreign exchange, and merchant acquiring gained either through a transaction banking career and / or with corporate treasury
- Experience advising or working within large corporate / MNC treasury and relevant buying centers, and demonstrating knowledge of how treasury & payments are evolving to support shifting business and operational needs relevant to the C-suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modelling
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading client engagements and managing cross-functional teams.
