As a Payment Lifecycle Manager within the Billing Operations team, you will be focused on management oversight and day to day execution within the Global Billing Operations function. You will bring the strategic agenda forward, collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners, and establish a reduced touch, controlled, highly skilled operating environment to support continued business growth

Job responsibilities

  • Build innovative, sustainable and efficient operational capabilities to support business growth
  • Provide clients with self-service capabilities to support ease of doing business
  • Cultivate and manage strong client relationships
  • Delegate and share information appropriately, and builds trust within a team
  • Structure a smart controls framework across the operating teams
  • Be approachable, demonstrate managerial courage and tackle issues head-on
  • Foster high performance culture to drive speed of execution and delivery
  • Ensure staff development keeps pace with transformational change

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 7+ years in Operational management at a large financial institution with demonstrated experience in global leadership roles effectively managing a globally dispersed team of individuals at various levels
  • Proven experience in building strong collaborative relationships - team player who works well with global colleagues/stakeholders at all levels in influencing outcomes and achieving results
  • Self-starter who can work comfortably and confidently under pressure and deadlines with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment
  • Demonstrated communication skills to work cross-organizationally at all levels to influence others, drive results/change and implement projects/processes
  • Displays good judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity and a strong work ethic with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of Cash Operations or Global Operations experience dealing with large scale operations and change/transformation agendas
  • Knowledge across the Pricing and Billing lifecycle (front, middle and back offices)
  • Experience with working knowledge of Payments/Utilities business
  • Master's Degree preferred
