Payment Lifecycle Analyst - Settlements

Short Description:

This position will be responsible to perform SPB (Brazilian Payment System) and SPI (Brazilian Instant Payments) operational processes and routines, support the Corporate Treasury team in the cash management activities for BRL and other 15 currencies from different locations (North America, Europe, and Asia) and the settlement process for all line of business within JPMorgan Brazil.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring /Investigations of local clearing BRL transactions (BACEN/STR/PIX)
  • Execute operational routines according to standard procedures in the Liquidity Management activities
  • Support and provide metrics, macros and reports
  • Work directly with the Corporate Treasury Desk and transactional group to support any related Funds Transfer / Liquidity Management activities/inquires
  • Provide overall leadership to the junior staff during his/her operating window.
  • Identify business knowledge gaps and reporting the same.
  • Develop improvements and systemic solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in operational processes

Qualifications:

  • Operational experience or knowledge in Financial Services industry required
  • Deep knowledge of Brazilian Market Structure, SPB system (Clearing, messages and routines) and STR-WEB Routines (SPI/PIX Knowledge is a PLUS)
  • English is Mandatory
  • Able to handle highly confidential information and material in a professional manner
  • Advanced team building and leadership skills to build strong client partnerships and relationships with various business functions
  • Able to adapt quickly to changing and/or competing priorities while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong priority management and multi-tasking skills required
  • Strong communication, presentation, project management and leadership skills required
