Join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless financial operations by managing wire transfers, resolving payment issues, and supporting compliance and regulatory requirements.

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst in the International Private Banking team, you will be at the forefront of managing and processing wire transfers, ensuring the smooth flow of incoming funds, outgoing client payments, and bank-to-bank transactions for our clients. You will be responsible for releasing and monitoring SWIFT messages, as well as investigating and resolving any issues related to wire transfers. Your role will involve supporting the business by addressing payment queries, locating funds, and expediting issue resolutions to maintain efficient financial operations. Additionally, you will execute and manage the setup of standing order instructions and process bookkeeping tickets and internal transfers as directed by various operational teams. You will also play a vital role in supporting compliance and regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring that all financial activities adhere to established regulations and standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Release and process wire transfers efficiently.
  • Process incoming funds, outgoing client payments, and bank-to-bank transactions.
  • Monitor and release SWIFT messages accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve wire transfer issues promptly.
  • Support the business by answering payment queries and locating funds.
  • Expedite issue resolutions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Execute and manage the setup of standing order instructions.
  • Process bookkeeping tickets and internal transfers.
  • Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to operational procedures for accuracy and timeliness.
  • Respond to query emails from Front Office, Middle Office, and counterparties on the same day.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
  • Communicate effectively with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Analyze data with attention to detail and quick grasping abilities.
  • Coordinate and work well in a team environment.
  • Manage time efficiently, adapting to changes flexibly.
  • Effectively use SWIFT, IRECS, Money Transfer Tool
  • Handle exceptions with subject matter expertise and challenge the status quo.
  • Maintain strong client focus and manage time effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional and geographical teams.
  • Communicate assertively and assist various groups with queries.
  • Adapt to fast-paced environments, prioritizing tasks effectively.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Knowledge on MT103 and ISO 20022
  • Work willingly in US, Asia, and EMEA shifts.
