In accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) guidance from GFCC (Global Financial Crimes Compliance) The AML/KYC Product team is responsible for collecting, maintaining and providing access to AML data on all CCB (Consumer and Community Banking) clients. This data is used by management, various utilities, operational teams and regulators to provide reporting, calculate risk, mitigate risk and validate the firm's adherence to regulatory obligations. The AML/KYC Product team also manages a technology book of work to remain in compliance with evolving regulations and new guidance from GFCC.

The role will require coordination with Project Teams, Compliance, Technology, Training, Communications, Legal, AML Operations and the Business. Team members are responsible to be knowledgeable of AML/KYC policies and standards to ensure initiatives are within compliance and mitigate the AML/KYC risks to an acceptable level.

Job Description:

As a member of the Risk Scoring Utility (RSU) feature team you will serve as the primary liaison between the Business and Technology to analyze and understand business requirements and help Scrum teams identify the best approach for fulfilling those requirements. You will work closely with Product Owners, Area Product Owners, SMEs and Scrum teams to thoroughly understand business requirements and help to guide the technology solution in a direction that is user-friendly and technically efficient. You will also be responsible for helping to address any gaps in understanding between the Business and Technology. You will help refine user stories, own issues as they arise, and troubleshoot defects with scrum teams and testing resources.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Combines knowledge of what the business needs with knowledge of how applications are built and used to translate business requirements into functional specifications and write epics and user stories
  • Works closely with Subject Matter Experts to understand their use of current systems and how changes may impact their use
  • Serves as the liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing teams throughout the project life cycle
  • Acts as voice of the user to help drive product vision
  • Facilitates and drives user focused solutions across the organization in direct support of the Product Owner and Area Product Owners
  • Develops use cases and acceptance criteria to demonstrate and validate that functionality being delivered fulfills business requirements
  • Works closely with the Test teams to ensure all applicable scenarios are identified and tested, defects are resolved and a quality end user product is delivered
  • Partners with Area Product Owners and product team for ongoing refinement of product backlog and execution of the product roadmap
  • Works with stakeholders from various organizations (legal, risk, operations etc.) to define, prioritize, deliver and align solutions to product vision and roadmap
  • Supports Product Owner and Area Product Owners with business case development and reporting of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results)
  • Participates in Agile ceremonies with multiple scrum teams

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Business/Product Analyst work experience preferred
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, and analytical skills and ability to collaborate with people from various levels of different organizations
  • Ability to clearly manage expectations across different groups
  • Must have an excellent ability to multi-task effectively working on several initiatives at the same time while managing shifting business priorities
  • Self-starter with ability to independently manage own work across initiatives and demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond quickly to changing priorities or issues
  • Must have a solid ability to analyze complex system requirements and quickly present findings to stakeholders in a simple and comprehensible manner
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills including solid experience writing user stories
  • Must possess willingness and ability to apply new skills and knowledge on a continuous basis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA etc.)
  • Familiarity with managing and prioritizing a product backlog
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Previous experience in AML related operations
