Job responsibilities
- Manage costs in line with agreed budgets.
- Manage outsourced print and mail activities
- Support business and client projects
- Develop relationships with key contact and day to day internal clients.
- Set and review local operating procedures within standard framework.
- Performance management of direct reports including performance evaluations & corrective action, may be involved in some level of salary planning
- Assigns & sets workflow priorities
- Ensure that training and development for all staff is appropriate and effective
- Maintain working knowledge of production equipment in line with job specification.
- Advise users and staff on the appropriate methods of production and provide technical support and advice where necessary
- Oversee reasonable ad hoc duties as required by the Operation Manager

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities
- High School Diploma required or the equivalent. College Degree preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years people manager experience
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, time management and planning skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience in a print and mail background is a plus
- Self starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
