As an Operations Oversight - Associate in Operations Oversight team at JPM Spółka Europejska (JPMSE) you will perform duties across all Branches and underlying Lines of Business of the Legal Entity. This means that you may be exposed to topics related to Markets, Securities Services, Private Bank, Regulatory Reporting, Payments, Asset and Wealth Management etc.
In this role you will ensure that all policy requirements with regards to the implementation and monitoring of outsourced activities are met.
Job responsibilities
- Ensures all relevant Inter-Affiliate Services (IAS) charters and Third Party (TPO) engagements have been presented to the Outsourcing Forum of JPMSE
- Ensures the relevant services have been included in an oversight process between the service recipient (JPMSE) and service provider location
- Ensures the service quality of the relevant activity is being monitored on a regular basis
- Organizes regular (daily, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly) oversight sessions as appropriate with all relevant businesses; reviews & documents specific JPMSE metrics (key performance and risk indicators) delivered by the relevant product
- Monitors/investigates actively the operational & technology incidents potentially impacting JPMSE and generates the corresponding reporting/escalation paths
- Ensures compliance with global and local outsourcing governance requirements framework
- Supports the development and delivery of decks & reporting to the various forums of the bank as well as continuously supports of all upcoming internal and external audits and regulatory interaction
- Works actively together with internal stakeholders including Controls, Risk Management and Compliance within and outside of JPMSE
- Supports the implementation and operational execution of new requirements coming from regulatory landscape

Required qualification, capabilities, and skills
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry ideally as a member of large operations, regulatory, compliance or similar teams
- Experience in working within a controls function or in close partnership with controls functions
- Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Understanding of outsourcing governance requirements and applicable regulations
- Good communication skills and ability to engage with senior management and providers
- Ability to demonstrate ownership, work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment within a matrix organization
- Fluency in English
Preferred qualification, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of German and/or French
