Operations Automation Lead - HR Intelligent Automation

Human Resource Intelligent Automation team was formed in late 2016 with a mandate to deliver Automation and Process Improvement across the Human Resource function globally. The position largely focuses on process discovery and task/process mining tools to identify improvement opportunities and propose requirements that can be solved through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or other automation tools like Alteryx, UiPath, Instabase, Pega Low-Code Workflows, Signavio and Tableau. The position is part of a team that proposes and prioritizes solutions but also mentors, coaches, and promotes Citizen Development through upskilling.

The team is looking for a senior professional to help deliver process improvement and propose automation solutions across Human resource product areas. The role requires interacting with members of the Human resource product Leadership, Human resource Operations, Risk and Control, Data Governance and Technology engineering functions to deliver according to products strategies.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee business process reviews, identify opportunities for process improvement, and lead automation development.
  • Define and lead data skills training programs to expand the knowledge and upskill the capability of Employee Digital and Employee Service to utilize process mining and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, such as, UiPath, Alteryx, Signavio, Instabase, and Pega Low Code Workflows.
  • Lead process excellence feature teams and fluent at leading solid business outcomes.
  • Diagnose and facilitate resolution of key issues and risks within projects.
  • Ensure operational and business change readiness and support the definition and documentation of new and enhanced operating models when implementing process improvements or automation.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Significant relevant industry experience, ideally coupled with financial services experience, as well as direct line management experience and accepted qualifications such as PMP, Design Thinking, Agile, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting-style, matrixed environment. Confident leader capable of fostering relationships with business heads and senior partners.
  • Technical and analytical skills, data manipulation (Excel, Alteryx, Tableau). Extensive experience with RPA Tooling (e.g. Alteryx, UiPath, UiPath Process Mining, Instabase, Signavio, Pega) and Process Improvement / Automation.
  • Solution oriented, leveraging a network to identify solutions and implement them.
  • Ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures.
  • A flexible proactive approach, ability to adapt to business change.
