As a Product Owner within our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing the business functionalities of our reconciliation platform-a critical tool for the Markets Operations and Regulatory Reporting teams-by developing and executing a strategic roadmap for its enhancement to meet evolving user needs, collaborating closely with Operations and Technology teams for smooth implementation, engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and define the product vision, leading remediation activities across various Markets products, analyzing user feedback to drive continuous innovation, communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to align on goals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Job Responsibilities:
- Implement regulatory reporting and ongoing remediation for the tool.
- Understand regulatory requirements by collaborating with Legal, Compliance, industry groups (such as ISDA, Equities industry groups, DTCC), and internal stakeholders.
- Establish end-to-end control processes.
- Review and improve the end-to-end control process for the Regulatory Reporting agenda across all assets and regulations.
- Develop recommendations for process and system enhancements.
- Work with Business and Technology groups to prioritize requirements by presenting the business case in the appropriate forum.
- Deliver a controlled environment for reconciliations and provide data and MIS to other systems.
- Ensure all functionalities and controls are correctly built by the technology partner, and highlight any gaps if functionality does not meet expectations during testing.
- Ensuring no gaps or Day2 requirements are created post release
- Work with technology to identify build gaps and partner with them to build controls around them
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- You must have at least 5+ years of experience
- You hold a bachelor's degree or above
- Demonstrate excellent business analysis skills to drill down complex regulatory reporting requirements for multiple jurisdictions.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand, and address operational and technical issues.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, to develop relationships across various stakeholders, including Senior Business executives.
- Understand basic concepts of Credit, Rates, and Equity Derivatives products.
- Grasp basic knowledge of Dodd Frank CFTC Trade Reporting and EMIR Trade Reporting.
- Comprehend the end-to-end transaction cycle for derivative products.
- Apply a control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize, and mitigate operational risk.
- Utilize strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of tools like Alteryx, and learn to deliver solutions using self-service tools like Alteryx and internal tools as required.
