As an Operations Analyst II- Capital Market Operations in Home Lending, the candidate will support the Capital Markets Front Office and Production Channels/Pricing Finance in developing daily mortgage pricing.
Job responsibilities
- Manage commissioned projects from start to finish.
- Demonstrate strong PC skills, with a high level of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access (or other database programs), and Visual Basic.
- Manage daily system operations, including pricing updates, data input validation, and exporting pricing files.
- Verify successful processing through Loan Origination Systems.
- Participate in Home Lending product implementation initiatives.
- Create ad-hoc reports, develop procedures, and document related processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of pricing model parameters for new products.
- Participate in testing new pricing engines and product development.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A college degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- A strong understanding of Mortgage Banking Secondary Market concepts and familiarity with agency contracts and delivery terms.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills and excellent process management skills, attention to detail and accuracy is essential and familiarity with User Acceptance Testing
- Strong data management skills, with the ability to analyze large volumes of output and identify errors and their root causes.
- Effective business communication skills, both internal and external and ability to interact with mortgage traders and knowledge of trading concepts and terminology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision with strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with Intelligent Solutions such as Alteryx, Python, Tableau and SQL are desirable.
