As a Data and Reporting Associate within the CIB Central Office of Legal Obligations (OLO) Team, you'll support the ongoing data delivery needs of the OLO program and offers the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the Enterprise Library Application (ELA), providing guidance and support to stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and implement scalable, consistent and controlled management reporting utilising relevant tools such as Alteryx.
  • Execute timely, consistent and accurate reporting for delivery to variety of stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and execution for metrics, reporting and ad hoc analysis for the team.
  • Undertake reporting process reviews to identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting requests as an when needed.
  • Maintain governing procedures for role-based activities, including annual document reviews.
  • Investigate, log, and follow up on defects reported by stakeholders; regularly communicate defect status.
  • Control and execute bulk updates within ELA, ensuring no impact on overall CIB completion status.
  • Monitor system performance and communicate any issues to stakeholders.
  • Partner with internal CIB and Firmwide OLO stakeholders to assess the impact of proposed new functionalities, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and relevant training.
  • Foster collaboration, build strong client relationships, and escalate risks within the governance structure.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • A minimum of 2 years in Investment & Corporate Banking business or operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive approach to problem solving, owning the issues and having the determination to follow through on tasks /issues.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build consensus and history of success working in a team environment.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably with senior people.
  • Able to successfully operate across regions, business, functions and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities and monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes.
  • Confidence and fluency with tools like Alteryx & Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to ask questions, challenge the process and seek out answers.
  • Quickly grasp and master new requirements and related knowledge.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing work environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Working knowledge of Alteryx.
  • Working knowledge of ELA.
