As a Trading Services Associate within the Wholesale Lending Services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the North America Credit Trading, Loan Total Return Swap, and Syndicated Leverage Finance businesses. You will manage a portfolio of secondary loan trading positions, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with various stakeholders. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and success of our trading activities, contributing to the firm's overall performance.

Job responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of secondary loan trading positions with external agents
- Monitor and process all loan activity received from external agents
- Maintain and investigate trade-related exceptions, such as open payable and receivable balances
- Communicate frequently with front office, documentation, and accounting teams, as well as external counterparties
- Monitor general ledger activity regarding payments associated with non-agented servicing activity
- Oversee Feed Held Awaiting Disposition "FHAD" and one-time trade fees
- Participate in ad hoc projects
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong teamwork skills
- Control-oriented and detail-oriented
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, pivot, and reprioritize as needed
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with loan-based software (LoanIQ, ClearPar)
- Loan trade settlement experience
- Experience with Loan Syndication and Trade Association "LSTA" / Loan Market Association "LMA" standard documentation, knowledge of the LSTA/LMA Standard Terms and Conditions
- Knowledge of the trade lifecycle and/or experience supporting a trading business
- Familiarity with syndicated loans
- Prior knowledge of loan products or trading operations
