Middle Office - Prime Brokerage Analyst

The Prime Finance Middle Office Department is responsible for ensuring all aspects of transaction management for Prime clients are completed on time, exceptions are controlled, client inquiries are resolved and subject matter expertise is provided to hedge fund clients. This would be across product role that requires extensive trade management, risk management and issue resolution skills while working with various internal teams as required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Booking transfers/wires/journals directly in our risk systems based on the instructions provided by our clients/stakeholders.
  • Monitor daily workflow (Cash/Asset Transfers)
  • Take ownership on issues and display client oriented focus
  • Creating your own relationship with the different teams that you interact with, partner with them on a day to day basis to perform more efficiently
  • Speak Up! Come up with ideas on how to fix process and technology gaps and follow them through to completion
  • Ensuring timelines and client service delivery standards are continually achieved.
  • Escalating issues in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Graduate or bachelor student.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both in Spanish and English.
  • Team player with a professional, proactive, and positive approach to work.
  • Sense of accountability and ownership of issues until resolution
  • Strong MS office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Knowledge of Cash Processing, Trade lifecycles, Global markets and settlement practices
  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently. Ensure all tasks are completed within expected SLAs.
  • Keen eye for details and accuracy
