As the Team Leader/Manager for the Escrow Middle Office, you will oversee the implementation of new deals and the ongoing administration of a portfolio of escrow relationships. Reporting to the regional Product Head, you will lead a team of Client Managers/Deal Negotiators (CM/DN) and work closely with clients and partner areas to ensure excellence in service delivery and compliance with all relevant agreements and policies.

- Lead and mentor a team of Client Managers/Deal Negotiators, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Deal Implementation and Administration:
- Oversee the implementation of new deals and manage the administration of escrow relationships.
- Ensure all account activities comply with governing escrow agreements and JPMorgan policies, including documentation, callbacks, investments, account setup, termination, and claims processes.
- Maintain oversight of the deal closing process and ensure all systems are properly updated.
Client Service Excellence:
- Drive the delivery of first-class client service by anticipating client needs and ensuring quick and accurate responses to client requests.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering solutions to meet client needs.
Agreement Negotiation and Transaction Management:
- Lead negotiations for new deals and agreement amendments, ensuring alignment with client and business objectives, polices and procedures.
- Support the front office in negotiating legal documentation across different deal types, focusing on following authority matrix for agreement negotiation.
- Liaise with internal and external counsel to prepare and review transactional documentation.
Risk and Compliance Management:
- Manage the controls framework, reporting, and escalation for transaction execution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Drive wider projects and initiatives within other stakeholders.
Collaboration and Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with JPMorgan partner areas, including Operations and Legal teams.
- Partner with Products and Sales to maximize new business opportunities with the existing client base.
- Collaborate with the team during high-volume periods and provide backup during absences.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Law.
- 8-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably in Escrow, Trust, or Custody.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT.
- Ability to manage relationships internally and externally, with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Language skills: Portuguese and English required; Spanish is an advantage.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Legal background is an advantage.
- Experience in process improvement and adapting to a rapidly changing business and technology environment.
