Marketing Strategy Lead-Customer First

As a Vice President, Marketing Strategy Lead on the Customer-First Marketing team, you will be responsible for building a customer segment security strategy and creating an actionable marketing plan to meet the goals. You will educate customers who have a high propensity to fall victim of fraud and scams helping them make better decisions. You will be responsible for including the development of the communication plans by translating disparate information into a compelling, actionable, measurable and cross-functionally supported marketing plan. You will collaborate across the lines of businesses to deliver on that vision.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create compelling security marketing strategy for customer level segments leveraging traditional and non-traditional channels including mobile, chase.com, email, direct mail, branch, ATM, public relations and social media channels
  • Partner with xLOB Marketing, D&A, Payments, EVP, Auth, Fraud, Digital Product, Operations and Servicing teams to understand trends and business priorities to inform the strategy
  • Lead the development of machine learning model to identify customers who have a higher propensity to fall victim and create targeted education communication plan to support customer needs
  • Facilitate effective communication across CCB CMO's preparing and presenting well-structured reports, updates, and findings .
  • Serve as an expert on the student and EVP segments including messaging voice and tone.
  • Establish an ongoing rigorous test and learn cadence, rich with analytics to benchmark and improve performance on an ongoing basis
  • Manage and influence cross-functional resources to execute initiatives on time, on budget ensuring flawless execution
  • Coordination of production calendar and forecast for all marketing launches

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 7 plus years of progressive marketing experience in a financial services firm or large corporate firm environment, with a strong record of accomplishment introducing and managing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, influence others and achieve results
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong Direct Marketing, Digital Marketing and Social Marketing skills
  • Self-starter with ability to grasp concepts quickly and collaborate with business partners for information to shape a comprehensive and successful marketing strategy
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills. Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with changing opportunities and priorities
  • Highly organized with exceptional ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make data/knowledge-based recommendations
  • Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
  • Customer focus with constant appetite increase performance
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships; lead through collaboration; recognized as a team player
  • Skilled and comfortable at working in a highly matrixed organization

  • MBA or advanced degree
