DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Developing and designing solutions for security engineering problems. Manage a team of security engineers and their corresponding projects. Communicate with other team managers on the progress and details of his team's projects. Delivering and demonstrating said solutions to the operations end users. Helping engineers on the team to develop their careers and expertise in the security field. Maintaining relationships with other teams that we work in conjunction with to create the most efficient solutions. Working to move product line to be cloud native.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as a Manager of Security Engineering, Staff Software Engineer, Server Side Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Manager of Security Engineering, Staff Software Engineer, Server Side Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience with deploying and building digital forensics systems in a scalable an automated fashion using Terraform. Experience programming automation in either Python, Java, CIC++, or Go and managing and leading a team and/or project of individuals of varying levels. Extensive knowledge of digital forensics best practices and how they can be implemented and enforced through access management and automation in an on-premise or cloud environment. Examples being secure data transfer with encryption, data validation, chain of custody enforcement, and file authorization.
