As a Loan Trading Services Analyst within the EMEA Agency Trading team, you will serve as a vital resource team. Your role includes the investigation of inquiries, reviewing lender transfer requests and the fundamental understanding of our trading platforms and systems. You must be able to provide and communicate solutions (in person, by phone, and by email) in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Job responsibilities
- Reviews and processs Lender submitted Loan Syndication Transfer Requests, ensuring adherence to specific transfer provisions as outlined in the underlying Loan Credit Agreement
- Ensures accurate and timely capture of all new external primary and secondary loan trades in agent books and records
- Assists the team in ad-hoc requests including technology enhancements / UAT exercises
- Provides support for non-BAU projects and initiatives designed to improve automation and strengthen the team's control environment
- Contributes to WLS wider projects & initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Ability to identify problems and escalate these promptly
- Good organization skills, and ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, including strong prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to interact professionally and confidently to external and internal clients
- Confident, self-starter, assertive and energetic who sets high standards of performance for self
- Personal motivation and drive to deliver excellence and make a difference every-day
- Excellent analytical skills
- Extremely detailed and control orientated
- Keen to understand the detail
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technology environment
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc), Word and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Basic understanding of loans / credit agreements (in particular LMA Syndicated Facilities)
- Knowledge of Loan IQ and ClearPar
- Working knowledge of innovation tools and processes like Alteryx and Tableau
