Loan Servicing Specialist IV

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) at JPMorgan Chase, servicing several business lines, is a team of approximately 1,300 employees managing over $500 billion in loans. Based in Chicago, the WLS's Loan Servicing Center handles loan servicing processing, booking, funding, and closing of new loans, renewals, and amendments for syndicated and non-syndicated Commercial Loan products. The team also oversees collateral functions and specialized functions, utilizing key loan systems such as ACBS and Loan IQ.

As a Loan Servicing Specialist IV within the Wholesale Lending Services, you will be responsible for processing high complexity loan transactions in a fast-paced environment. You will handle various forms of monetary and non-monetary related transactions on the applicable commercial loan system. This role provides an opportunity to enhance your skills in collections, reconciling differences, monitoring interest/fee/principal past dues, and various maintenance requests ensuring system integrity. Job responsibilities:
• Develop PDF batch work for quality control/two-touch and document repositories
• Enter data of customer and loan details into the loan system
• Process wire, draws, payments, rate resets, quote payoffs and maintenance transactions
• Identifying inaccurate, incomplete or missing information on the transactions prior to submit for approval.
• Be responsible for minimizing credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy.
• Understanding and following Bank policy and established procedures
• Maintaining prompt and proactive communication with business partners on the status of their requests

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Successful completion of all periodic High Value Business Entitlements (HBVE) background checks
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior loan operations and/or quality control experience in a banking or financial services industry
• Ability to adapt to internal tracking and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of ACBS and/or Loan IQ
• Understanding of US Dollar and Foreign Currency Loans
• Working knowledge of legal/credit documents.
• Ability to interpret standard reports and forms.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels.
