The Loan Servicing Manager - Associate is a key position within the Loans group. You are expected to deliver on the specific tasks and requirements. This position is an essential part of the team and will have exposure to several aspects of running a banking office.
Job Summary
As a Loan Servicing Manager - Associate within our Loans group, you will have the opportunity to closely monitor and guide your team on a daily basis, ensuring all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met. You will supervise a variety of processes, including Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, Pre-payments, Funding, Rate-Fixings, Fees, and external payments. This role provides a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in managing Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation and to make a significant impact on our operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Monitor the team daily to ensure SLAs are met and escalate exceptions immediately for resolution.
- Supervise processes like Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, and Nostro Reconciliation.
- Adhere to QUALITY & QUANTITY SLAs and ensure a robust workflow allocation model.
- Serve as the SME, handling complex queries and routing them to onshore teams if needed.
- Implement a robust Knowledge Management model and drive 100% compliance with policies.
- Motivate and support team members to meet goals, identifying HIPOs for development.
- Identify alternatives and options for issues, seeking alternative scenarios.
- Work collaboratively with others, valuing diverse skills and building interdependence.
- Identify training needs to improve performance and ensure compliance with timelines.
- Ensure high team depth with trained backups for critical work queues.
- Maintain flexibility and self-motivation in working hours to support team objectives.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant loan servicing work in syndicated loans or experience in a back office/financial industry
- You should have the knowledge of loan systems like loan IQ
- You must have knowledge of nostro/cash matching, General Ledger reconciliation and SWIFT and remittance systems
- Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to the process
- Strong risk & control mindset
- Knowledge of investment banking products including Loans
- Experience in driving small to medium sized projects with strong results
- Strong people and performance management skills.
- Strong escalation management skills

- Executive Presence including summarizing, recommending and presenting issues as well as solutions to Senior Management and Executive Leadership as requested
