As an Associate in the Lending & Capital Strategy Business Management team, you will support the Global Head of Lending & Capital Strategy in setting the strategic agenda and tracking progress against key metrics. You will develop expert-level knowledge of regulatory treatment and economics for lending products, cultivate strong partnerships, and optimize balance sheet usage..
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Global Head of Lending & Capital Strategy in setting the strategic agenda and tracking key metrics.
- Develop expert-level knowledge of regulatory treatment and economics for lending products.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with bankers and functional partners globally.
- Provide guidance on the profitability of credit facilities and client relationships.
- Optimize balance sheet usage by assessing portfolio/product level returns.
- Facilitate distribution capabilities for traditional lending products.
- Work on initiatives and projects to maximize efficiencies and improve processes.
- Collaborate with Technology to enhance the Loan Return Calculator.
- Develop innovative dashboards and presentations for Finance & Business Management and bankers.
- Develop analytics and assess portfolio trends, including product insights and future business potential.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of experience in business management, financial analysis, strategy, or banking.
- Eagerness and ability to develop product-specific knowledge around lending, focusing on capital and liquidity requirements.
- Strong partnership and communication skills to collaborate across functions and teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize a complex book of work.
- Ability to synthesize and articulate results to diverse audiences.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to independently lead initiatives.
- Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Skills in Alteryx, Tableau, and data science.
