As a Mobile SDET at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC.

We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects - and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to move between them.
Job responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining the overall test strategy within the team, including manual and automated testing approaches
- Advocating for quality throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring that quality considerations are embedded from the start
- Participating proactively in backlog refinement to ensure test requirements are clearly defined and understood by the entire team
- Automating and maintaining sufficient mobile app test coverage to minimise manual testing
- Integrating and troubleshooting automated test pipelines, to support continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Testing non-functional aspects of mobile apps e.g. accessibility, performance
- Triaging and debugging defects, driving timely issue resolution
- Initiating and completing defect escape and root cause analysis, recommending defect prevention actions
- Evaluating the team's performance against defined quality metrics and identifying areas for improvement
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on Electrical/Computer Engineering concepts and proficient advanced experience
- Proven experience in all aspects of functional, integration and regression testing
- Experience developing automated testing frameworks and validation tools for mobile apps
- Experience with (incl. setting up and troubleshooting) mobile app build and deployment pipelines
- Clean coding and adherence to the software engineering best practices (DRY, SOLID, etc.) with a focus on scalable and maintainable test execution infrastructure
- Mobile app test automation using tools such as Cucumber, Appium, and WebdriverIO
- Mobile app and mobile browser testing on physical devices and simulators running on both iOS and Android platforms
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Knowledge and experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Programming experience with JavaScript
- Exposure to web technologies (e.g. HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, JS REACT, etc.)
- Experience with mobile app related non-functional testing e.g. accessibility, client side performance testing
- Previous experience in mobile app development
