As a Security Operations Vice President with in Cybersecurity & Technology Controls, you will contribute significantly to safeguarding the organization's digital assets and infrastructure by proactively detecting, assessing, and responding to threats, vulnerabilities, and security incidents. You will regularly collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a coordinated approach to security, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive data and systems. You will apply advanced analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to enable operational excellence and implement innovative solutions to address complex security challenges. By staying current with industry best practices, policies, and procedures, you will contribute to maintaining a secure digital environment and driving continuous improvement in the firm.

Job responsibilities

  • Conduct regular Quality Assurance activities and reporting to validate that we are performing at the right quality level to our customers.
  • Oversee the investigation (Cyber Splunk queries) and implementation of firwide Proxy Override requests through ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with in-scope engineering and product teams to onboard new cybersecurity controls into our ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive data telemetry and reporting capabilities to quantify the work that we do in an easy to understand way to varying stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and analysis to ensure that we remain compliant with our controls within the CORE environment.
  • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions that saves time, cost and effort for our teams.
  • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification in Cybersecurity Operations and 5+ years applied experience
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity engineering principles, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), threats and mitigation techniques.
  • Foundational knowledge of Cybersecurity Architecture domain areas, including Network Security, Identity Access Management and Security Operations (Pen testing, Attack Analysis etc)
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow and security tools and technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, DLP and endpoint protection.
  • Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with incident response and creating dashboards.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Cybersecurity controls industry knowledge (including DLP).
