DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Analyze credit risk for company's clients within the real estate, gaming, and lodging sector by monitoring portfolio performance on an ongoing basis and producing periodic review reports, including annual reviews. Identify key risks and mitigation measures while assessing credit proposals. Utilize assigned lending authority to approve the underwriting, structuring and risk grading of CIB real estate loans obtaining higher level approval when needed. Coordinate with the Securitized Products Group ("SPG") team for the deal flow related to Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities ("CMBS")transaction and work within CIB Coverage and Global Corporate Banking("GCB") partners for transactions related to Real Estate & Investment Banking ("REALIB") deals. Participate in due diligence and provide deal team members with credit expertise in structuring new debt facilities. Develop detailed financial models specific to company comprising transaction details, financial statement analysis, projections, and credit metrics amongst others. Conduct sensitivity analysis on projections for stress testing on loans and serviceability and analyze deal specific covenants which can act as early warning signals while monitoring loans. Manage a team of credit analysts, supervising deliverables and grooming junior employees to develop credit analytical skills. Participate in recruitment and training of junior team members. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to various client sites and internal JPMC offices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Credit Officer, Credit Officer, Investment Associate/Analyst, Investment Researcher, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: credit underwriting; credit analytics; CRE lending across various sectors including office, multifamily, retail, industrial, lodging & gaming, cruise line, and specialty assets; U.S. and international markets; loan types including term loan, revolving credit facility loan, and structured finance loan; corporate banking products including bonds, derivatives, overdrafts, corporate credit cards, and ACH credit and debit facilities; CRE project loan portfolio management; mortgage warehousing portfolio management; accounting and corporate finance; three- statement financial modeling; and syndicated bank loan market.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel to various client sites and internal JPMC offices. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
