Job Description:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Team is an integral part of the Controls environment and is responsible for conducting a continuous review against internal Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure quality, completeness, and accuracy of KYC. Our team works closely with the KYC Management Team, Global Financial Crimes Compliance and the enterprise-wide control program teams to identify, remediate and track issues, and develop controls to sustain improvements as they are made.

As a KYC Quality Assurance Tester within the Quality Assurance (QA) Team, you will be responsible for conducting a continuous review of internal Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the KYC Management Team, Global Financial Crimes Compliance, and the enterprise-wide control program teams to ensure quality and accuracy of the KYC profile. Your role will involve performing reviews on New Business and Renewal KYC records, completing additional targeted testing relating to KYC activities, and providing constructive feedback to relevant stakeholders. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the integrity of our banking operations and to make a significant impact on our compliance with global KYC standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Test the quality of approved KYC records against Global KYC and Quality Assurance Standards, and record results in the case management system.

• Review the reliability and integrity of data collected, and challenge the appropriateness of assumptions made where appropriate.

• Anticipate challenges and initiate solutions in the QA testing process.

• Identify key issues, risks, and trends, perform root cause analysis, and make recommendations for addressing identified deficiencies or improvements to business processes.

• Present results to key stakeholders, track, and monitor corrections to identified critical defects.

• Collaborate with global partners to ensure consistency with the Global QA framework and governance approach.

• Consider regulatory requirements and best practices to implement changes to the process.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Demonstrate strong individual contribution with a minimum of 3 years of experience in AML risk management.

• Possess knowledge of AML regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

• Exhibit analytical skills with the ability to assess complex client types and risk exposures.

• Have experience in banking or related industry essential.

• Display advanced analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Articulate findings/AML risks and escalate promptly to relevant parties.

• Conduct root cause analysis and risk analysis.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Obtain ACAMS Certification.

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field.

• Have previous Anti-money laundering/Know Your Customer and/or Line of Business experience.

• Demonstrate advanced MS Office suite experience (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Project).
