We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Associate Product Owner to join our team and drive the development of our self-directed investing products.

Job Summary:

As the Senior Associate Product Owner in the Self-Directed Investing Product organization, you will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of our self-directed investing products. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer support, to ensure that our products meet the needs of our clients and align with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, a deep understanding of the financial services industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product organization to define and prioritize the product roadmap for self-directed investing products.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform product decisions.
  • Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the product.
  • Monitor product performance and key metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate product updates and changes to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for self-directed investing products, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of self-directed investing and financial markets.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex products from concept to launch.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
