The Marketing Oversight team aims to maintain a strong and consistent control environment across delivery channels (office, emails, collateral, etc.,) for the JPMorgan Private Client office group in concert with JPMorgan Wealth Management and cross line of business partners (Chase Consumer Bank, Business Banking, Home Lending, etc.,). Oversight efforts include comprehensive end to end process management, effective design, evaluation of controls, and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk within activities.
As a Marketing Controls Manager in JPMorgan Wealth Management, you will be responsible for driving initiatives within the JPMorgan Private Client space, a banking business that provides a "Single Point of Contact" through Relationship Managers, who can extend the breadth of JPMorgan's capabilities in a high-touch manner to affluent clients. You will serve as the voice for Marketing Controls/Governance aspects for the various work streams operating in support of the business, supporting process management oversight and operational controls for Marketing. You should have a strong background in project management, be detail-oriented, and possess knowledge of procedures, controls, and operational aspects.

Job responsibilities
- Support and manage key project initiatives in a robust controls environment
- Maintain awareness and reporting of significant control issues within Marketing.
- Help self- identify the root cause of control and process breaks; provide expertise to the development of action plans to fix and/or remediate.
- Communicate issues and present recommendations including opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with functional support teams (i.e. Controls, etc.,) to develop positive working relationships and maintain an open environment for collaboration.
- Resolve project conflicts by making decisions and through negotiations with impacted areas and management, as appropriate
- Provide invoice validation as 2nd control
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7+ years of banking, investment / project management / operational experience/ controls
- Strong sense of urgency and proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically
- Proven process thinker with ability to determine root cause, analyze and solve problems in a precise manner
- Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in an ever-changing environment
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to absorb and retain information readily and prioritize tasks to meet changing demands and work under deadline constraints
- Comfortable providing directional guidance while holding teams or individuals accountable for high quality work delivered according to committed target dates
- Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude while simultaneously leading multiple initiatives of varying size and complexity within a fast-paced, results driven environment
- Ability to learn and adapt to new system technologies that support project workflow and departmental process execution.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Adtrax, and PowerPoint applications; ability to document and prepare executive-level presentations
