Job Summary:

As an Governance and Oversight Officer you will partner with our team to strengthen our outsourcing management structure in Ireland. You will contribute to implement change driven by regulatory demand and deliver best practice for the Bank and for our clients. You will support our strategic agenda, participating to and supporting independently improvements to our Outsourcing model, enhancing the overall control environment and working to proactively mitigate risk through effective governance.

Job Responsibilities:

As part of the JPMorgan Ireland Outsourcing Governance team, the selected individual It will include but will not be limited to:

  • Support the team in maintaining the overall Outsourcing / Governance roadmap and coordinate the delivery of related projects and initiatives to drive consistency and compliance across Ireland entities, LoBs and Functions
  • Ensure robust design and continuous update of the Legal Entity governance framework to support changing products as well as to meet regulatory demands and changes, particularly within local branch jurisdictions.
  • Promote simplification where possible in Third Party management processes by identifying synergies in our areas of controls.
  • Execute and implement Governance and Oversight control priorities and strategy
  • Drive risk mitigation and control remediation programs in relation to Governance and Oversight across the business
  • Build positive relationships through on-time delivery of commitments and ensure effective communication with our stakeholders.
  • Partner with the business and functional colleagues to guide consistent and rigorous JPMorgan controls management framework and practices, design and implementation of control enhancement

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Prior Control management experience on multi-cultural and cross location projects.
  • Have demonstrated experience managing stakeholders, building relationships and supporting them towards achieving the expected outcomes.
  • Be actions and outcome driven to deliver within the given timeframes while dealing with conflicting agenda.
  • Proven ability to deliver on firmwide objectives through supporting regulatory type projects.
  • Ability to lead Forums with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate ownership, work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various businesses and key support functions, at all levels of an organization.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management - ability to communicate clearly at all levels through comprehensive reports and presentations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Big 4 experience an advantage
  • Project Managment Qualification
