DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead day-to-day client dialogue, idea generation, and transaction execution in order to win investment banking advisory mandates and generate revenue. Build relationships with key decision-makers at companies in the diversified industrials industry globally. Prospect new clients not covered by the investment bank to expand the coverage universe. Support equity and debt capital raises and sell-side and buy-side M&A (Merger and Acquisition) processes for companies in the industrial sector. Lead transactions including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, other equity capital markets activity, high yield debt issuance, and other debt issuance in the North America diversified industrials space. Analyze detailed corporate and financial information and conduct detailed due diligence. Perform financial modeling and analysis related to the valuation of companies including discounted cash flow, transaction comparables, public market comparables, leveraged buyout analysis, and public market overviews. Create pitch books and ideas to present to the clients on potential acquisitions, divestitures, and capital structure alternatives. Train analysts and associates. Assist with account coverage. This position requires up to 50% domestic travel and 10% international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Liberal Arts, or related field of study plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Liberal Arts, or related field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires four (4) years of experience with the following: financial modeling for valuation using Excel; developing pitch book presentations using PowerPoint; utilizing databases such as FactSet or Bloomberg; investment banking industry coverage within the diversified industries sector; sell-side and buy-side merger and acquisition processes and capital raise processes including Initial Public Offerings and debut Debt issuance for companies within the diversified industries sector; preparing live deal materials including confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations, and prospectuses for companies within the diversified industries sector; equity and debt capital raises for companies within the diversified industries sector; merger modeling, cash flow modeling, accretion and dilution analysis, leveraged buyout modeling, and analysis of valuation of comparable companies within the diversified industries sector; researching industry trends, strategic landscape considerations, and economic drivers for companies within the diversified industries sector; and account coverage for companies within the diversified industries sector. This position requires a FINRA Series 63 license and a FINRA Series 79 license.
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. This position requires up to 50% domestic travel and 10% international travel.
Full-Time. Salary: $325,000 - $350,000 per year.
