Internal Audit Practices - Demand & Project Manager

The JPMC Internal Audit department is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Internal Audit Tools Team to support the Head of Strategy, Methodology, and Tools in driving key department initiatives, with an emphasis on driving the delivery of the department's technology strategic priorities.

You will report to the Executive Director of Audit Tools and manage several key processes and deliverables while collaborating closely with senior management, product owners and Corporate Technology. You will also lead and support various project-based assignments aimed at continuously enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operating environment, influencing impactful change across the department and assisting in facilitating the advancement of the tools, technology, and processes that supports the Internal Audit business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Tools team in executing operational tasks, coordinating timely delivery of deliverables, facilitating data maintenance, and supporting user acceptance testing.
  • Oversight of the technology portfolio's demand management process, including the intake of new initiatives, managing the book of work, scoping future releases, and monitoring the status of the technology program
  • Project management of key initiatives, including coordinating with stakeholders, executing assigned tasks and monitoring the timely delivery of deliverables to facilitate the implementation of the department's technology program

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a Financial Services or Technology organization, consulting firm, or other related industry
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to extract takeaways from datasets including articulating key messages in a visually succinct and concise manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with impeccable attention to detail and consistent delivery of professional-grade quality deliverables
  • Organized, self-motivated and effective under pressure with an appetite to take on calculated risk with accountability
  • Ability to assess, identify and articulate a problem, establish the root cause, and propose optional solutions that drive operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, while maintaining flexibility to reprioritize priorities as needed
  • Excellent collaborating skills with the ability to be effective within a matrix environment and influence senior stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field and/or Master's degree in Business Administration
  • Proficient in Tableau, Alteryx and/or SharePoint design and content management
  • Professional certification in Project Management
