We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our dynamic team and ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Servers infrastructure. As a member of our Infrastructure Support group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate to solving business problems through innovation and modern engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of Infrastructure Support, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. Infrastructure Platforms (IP) International Services is a horizonal service organization. We leverage the scale and expertise of the product organization to deliver IP global products at a local level, linking requirements and understanding regulations to ensure IP products are delivered to meet customer needs. We align with the international CIO organization within each region and with direct linkage to global IP Platforms & Services.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Perform routine server monitoring and maintenance.
  • Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and installations.
  • Monitor server performance and optimize configurations for efficiency.
  • Maintain server documentation, including configurations, procedures, and policies.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure projects and initiatives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest server technologies, trends, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents .
  • Support Line of Business application developing teams with Application SDLC and Infrastructure demands.
  • Engage with tools and operations teams to address failure patterns and incidents in Infrastructure Components such as OS and Storage systems.
  • Conduct performance tests, document and/or identify application optimizations

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture concepts including distributed servers, storage, network, database and application components.
  • Extensive knowledge in administering, troubleshooting & upgrading Linux Redhat and Windows Server systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
  • Proficiency in server hardware and storage systems.
  • Knowledge in Site Reliability Engineering - Design, code, test and deliver software to automate manual operational work
  • Familiarity with cloud-based server solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and services (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Cloud Solutions, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator) are a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Working proficiency in Incident/Problem/Change management process and procedures
  • Ability to host/participate in bridge calls and communicate effectively to large group of individuals at all levels.
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends, automation tools and best practices
  • Experience of working in Agile Methodology
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish is a plus

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in using industry standard monitoring tools (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana etc.)
  • Experience in using Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools. Build and Release skills using Jenkins, Maven, Git, etc.
  • Experience on Financial Industry
