As an Infrastructure Engineer I at JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity & Tech Control Team, you apply baseline technical knowledge to assignments aligned to you. The assignments may consist of parts of a single technical area, application, software, or technical methodology within the infrastructure engineering discipline.
Job responsibilities
- Takes detailed directions from team leaders to analyze data and systems and conduct problem solving
- Supports discussions with team and peers on technical matters relating to platforms, servers, and networks
- Uses JPMorgan Chase practices, procedures, and operating standards to guide decisions with regular oversight
- Considers baseline upstream/downstream system and technical implications
- Tackles routine technical tasks and issues such as collecting, analyzing, and monitoring data in test and production
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Infrastructure Engineer concepts and 1+ years applied experience
- Hands on experience in Unix, Wintel OS background.
- Proficient in Automation Python, Shell, Ansible
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure
- Interest about modern technologies and familiarity with industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Modern technologies
