DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Develop, maintain, and support secure internet and intranet applications and highly available computing platforms, servers, and networks. Build, destroy, and upgrade AWS instances and perform lifecycle management. Participate in the evaluation, selection, implementation, integration, maintenance, upgrade, documentation, troubleshooting, and design of middleware infrastructure and associated platforms. Perform design work, including designing tailored solutions to meet specific client requests. Review business requirements, functional specifications, and test cases to understand functional and technical performance requirements, analyze performance of the application, and verify requirements are successfully met. Collect and analyze monitoring data in test and production to support root cause analysis. Coordinate with project leadership to ensure that capacity management activities and resources are integrated into overall project plan and schedule. Support and define performance test scripts, document defects, and identify solutions where the actual results do not successfully meet expected results. Recommend process improvements. Take product support calls.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 3 (Three) years of experience in the job offered or as Infrastructure Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: application architecture design; application performance testing; application system monitoring; virtual and physical application hosting patterns; delivering multiple information technology projects on time and within budget; defining and implementing a working architecture; automating tasks; following software deployment methodologies; AWS Solutions; Tomcat Application Server; Apache Web Server; IBM WebSphere Application Sever; IBM HTTP Web Server; integrating applications with single sign-on solutions; DevOps tools in a cloud environment; Ansible; Artifactory; Docker; GitHub; Jenkins; Kubernetes.
Job Location: 1111 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, OH 43240. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
