As internal consultants, ISTX drives key business transformations to advance Chase Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) towards operational excellence. The team's mission is to enhance processes and systems, improve customer experience, boost employee engagement, reduce risks, achieve financial benefits, and foster continuous improvement.

As a Vice President in ISTX, you will lead high-priority, cross-business projects targeting highly complex ecosystems that require deeper technology and data domain expertise, collaboration with senior executives and cross-functional partners.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic recommendations for Chase, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-suite and other senior leaders.
  • Collaborate with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., product, technology, operations, data science, finance).
  • Scope, structure, and lead teams in project execution to identify issues and actionable opportunities, design solutions, and quantify potential impact to the business.
  • Develop and convey CEO-level deliverables to stakeholders with compelling narratives to influence action on key business decisions and major change initiatives.
  • Develop junior team members both formally and informally.
  • Perform competitor analysis and industry research, analyze, and understand system architectures & process flows. and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Champion innovation and modernization with development platforms and AI/ML solutions including cloud migrations and cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 6+ Years of experience in management/strategy consulting, Startups (FinTechs), product, or similar roles including at least 1+ years of experience leading teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise and working knowledge of SDLC, systems, and data concepts.
  • Ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of tools to develop solutions. Developed solutions and ability to apply scientific problem-solving methods e.g., issue trees.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills - ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources.
  • A high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership with ability to travel as needed (10 - 30% on average; will vary by engagement).
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to develop subject matter expertise in new subjects quickly in an open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style.
  • Proven track record in implementing DevOps and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices, platform modernization, and cloud migration, including AWS.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • MBA or equivalent certification from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred experience with strategically implementing AI/ML solutions, data wrangling and business intelligence tools i.e., Alteryx, Tableau.
  • Certifications in AWS Solutions Architecture and Cloud Practitioner.
  • Experience in IoT-based systems and e-commerce platform development.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday working in the office
