DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Document findings from studies and prepare recommendations for the implementation of new systems and procedures to identify security issues by engaging with technology and business colleagues. Analyze gathered evidence and data to develop solutions or alternative approaches to address a wide range of cybersecurity risks across multiple technology domains. Consult with the relevant teams to ensure newly implemented systems or procedures are functioning successfully by identifying, developing, and communicating risk, mitigation options, and solutions. Drive and participate in engagements from planning to reporting, producing high-quality deliverables while ensuring that critical assessments, reviews, and audits are completed on time.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Information Security Manager, IT Consultant, IT Audit Specialist, Systems Engineer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Delivering and assessing enterprise-level security issues, solutions and controls; assessing risks outcomes and mitigation options, and translating those into actions required to achieve business and technology goals; cloud computing and applying controls to secure data and ensure resiliency and availability; control architecture and design including APIs and micro- services oriented architectures; translating firm wide policy and regulatory requirements into control designs and defining these for Software Engineers and Solutions Architects; Open authentication and authorization technology and standards; ad hoc teams for control architecture and design assessments; Performing threat hunting, discovery, and modeling to proactively identify emerging risks; Performing data analytics using Excel and Alteryx to extract thematic patterns on applications breaks and key metrics.
Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
