As an IMOS Asset Servicing - Corporate Actions Associate within Asset Servicing Team, you will be responsible for the processing the full range of corporate action events across all global markets facing off to key internal and external stakeholders within the IMOS Business.
Job responsibilities
- Processes of Corporate Actions covering the full lifecycle from Announcement Capture to Payments.
- Liaises with agent banks and custodians to improve processes and client experience.
- Timely finds resolution of Cash and Stock exceptions.
- Proactively provides support to internal teams including Risk Management and Client Facing teams across regions.
- Understands the control environment ensuring daily control checks are completed.
- Works closely with Technology, Product and Operations partners to deliver Change.
- Participates and leads meetings at the operational level on change initiatives impacting Asset Servicing.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Full lifecycle Corporate Actions & processing knowledge
- Good balance between analytical skills and interpersonal skills with experience facing off to demanding stakeholders
- Good understanding of Corporate Actions and Income accounting entries
- Good experience of Investment Banking Operational areas (Trades, Cash and Reconciliations)
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify, understand and address operational and technical issues
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to develop relationships across the various stakeholders including senior business executives
- Motivated and able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a team
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Client Service and Middle Office exposure
- Financial markets product knowledge and understanding of the transaction lifecycle
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
- Knowledge of IM Actions Corporate Actions system, Bancs and Cosmic
