As an Human Resources Service Delivery, Analyst you will be on point for providing vital services for the JP Morgan Taiwan in the areas of payroll, benefits administration, on/off boarding employees, and statutory obligations, among others. The role works as part of the HR Global Operations (HRGO) team whose efforts are focused on supporting the firm to achieve its strategic priorities by leveraging these core principles: Superior Employee Experience; Operational Excellence; Efficient Global Coverage and Commitment to our People.

Job responsibilities

  • Responsible for employee lifecycle operations
  • Responsible for delivering company & statutory benefits and payroll, including supporting activities in relation to end to end benefits administration
  • Responsible for manual payroll inputs and final pay processing of employees which covers handling of final pay and retirement releasing operations
  • Initiate process enhancements, transformation, and digitization
  • Responsible for the periodic regulatory reporting requirements and processing of statutory invoice payments including coordinating with external vendors regarding work permit application of foreign hires and employees
  • Prepare monthly reports/metrics/scorecard, and handle case management and employee inquiries/concerns
  • Manage and assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as needed as part of process/procedure/functional enhancements, including support for various HR initiatives as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 - 5 years of working experience and specializing in Payroll and/or Company & Statutory Benefits Administration
  • Good at data analytical and PC skills such as Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Good verbal and written communication in English.
  • Self-Starter, with good time management skills who is able to organize and prioritize their workload, and manage multiple priorities in parallel also meet deadlines
  • Well-versed in Taiwan Employment Ordinance, taxation, mandatory social insurance and related ordinances;
  • With effective multi-tasking ability, project management skills
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision using critical thinking and problem solving skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Total work experience of 6-8 years in related field
  • Previous exposure in sizable companies or professional firms will be an advantage
  • Extensive experience in statutory regulatory reporting requirements
