Human Resources Business Advisor, Vice President

As Human Resource Business Advisor (HRBA), you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution by the HRBA team and work in support of the business and people agenda. You will be the primary relationship manager for the Business and other functions in Human Resource.

Job responsibilities:

  • Resource Management.
  • Hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management.
  • Resource allocation and alignment.
  • Engaging all key stakeholders related to organizational and HRBA alignment decisions.
  • Team development.
  • Drive focus on individual and team development through formal training, project exposure, mobility, and ad hoc assignments.
  • Mentor, coach and develop HRBA team members.
  • Client management and support responsibilities in addition to HRBA team management.
  • Process optimization - Drive LOB/Function/country initiatives.
  • Relationship Management - Act as relationship manager for HR, specific to LOB priorities.
  • Responsible for escalation of significant issues or trends impacting the business or their people.
  • Act as an escalation point for matters related to HR to support the line of business.
  • Liaise with counterparts across other LOBs/regions/countries to share best practices, align on cross-firm initiatives and to share/leverage resources as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR Center Of Excellence functions.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Strong people manager, preferably in the HRBA space, focused on resource optimization.
  • Able to operate in a highly matrixed environment and at all levels of the organization from HR execs to Jr. HRBAs.
  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to navigate across the function and the firm.
  • Strong communication skills and able to present and articulate trends leveraging analytics and reporting.
  • Strong judgement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative, team-based culture and leverage matrixed organization to problem solve, design and execute people priorities.
  • Able to partner with colleagues to influence broader HR strategies and practices for the benefit of the organization.
