As a Product Manager Vice President in Payments Hong Kong, you will be part of a dynamic team of products specialists focused in promoting and developing the end-to-end value proposition for J.P. Morgan Payments. You are responsible for driving and owning the development, implementation, and enhancement of J.P. Morgan's cash management products and solutions from conceptual stages through research, development, marketing, training, and managing the entire product life cycle in support of the Bank's strategic goals and objectives.
We are looking for a strong strategic thinker with the ability to develop differentiated solutions and with proven skill set for timely execution. In this role, you will work closely with Product, Sales, and functional partners on client strategy, investment roadmap and resiliency. In addition, you may be required to front regulatory bodies and participate in industry-led initiatives from time-to-time in Hong Kong and the neighboring Greater Bay Area in coordination with the China team.

The Payments Hong Kong Product Manager VP role is responsible in managing core cash management product solutions such as collections, disbursements, liquidity management, FX, payments innovation and digital channels among others. Some of the primary responsibilities include product P&L, and commercialization of such solutions. The team is also responsible to support and working closely with the regional APAC Payments product team in defining regional strategy and drive the regional product roadmap with global and country product managers.
Job Responsibilities
- Support the development of Payments Hong Kong products by coordinating with regional and global partners
- Drive and execute the commercialization strategy for Hong Kong, including securing technology investments
- Understand and be up to date in the developments in the local market in Hong Kong including the Greater Bay Area (GBA), macro-economic and regulatory dynamics
- Review current offerings with Sales/Bankers to identify opportunities refinement and/or develop innovative new solutions for our target client segments
- Collaborate with technology innovation group for potential cutting edge solutions
- Manage/assist the team in pricing the products optimally while delivering P&L performance
- Ensure all new and existing products are in compliance with regulations and the firm's controls standards
- Manage individual product portfolio and drive process & product consistency across the APAC region
- Partner very closely with Operations, Client Service and Sales/Bankers to provide clients with best in class products and experience
- Participate in industry initiatives in Hong Kong and extend influence over the Greater Bay Area in coordination with China product team.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking or other related disciplines
- Language skills in Mandarin and Cantonese in order to provide services to Mandarin and Cantonese speaking clients
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Cash Management Product space
- Knowledge of Working Capital Management is a-must, in addition to Compliance, Controls and Legal aspects
- Experience in Greater Bay Area development and product management
- Experience in managing multiple stakeholders across Coverage, Sales, Service, Operations and Technology with strong influencing skills
- Ability to front regulatory bodies and participate/ lead industry-wide initiatives
- Strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive tactical execution. Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions.
- Strong presentation and communication skills with a keen eye for details.
